What does Recheck do?

Recheck is a professional registry. By registering on our Website, you are contributing your information to the Recheck Registry, a database of solar and home service professionals. A special feature of the Recheck Registry is that once you register with Recheck, you will not be able to delete or remove your Recheck ID or any of your associated data from the Recheck Registry. Consider carefully whether you agree with this requirement before submitting your information to Recheck.

Information you provide or we collect

Information that we may collect about you when you use the Services broadly falls into the three categories listed below:

• Information that you provide voluntarily

  We may collect information that you provide voluntarily when you, for example, join our email list, register with the Recheck Registry, seek information about our Services, contact us, or interact with us for any other purpose. Such information may include:

  • Email;
  • Your name;
  • Phone number;
  • Current company name, job level, and role;
  • Work history;
  • User name and password for the Services;
  • Demographic information, such as your age, gender, or ethnicity;
  • Information collected in connection with applying for employment with one of Recheck’s customers;
  • Government-issued identification (e.g., driver’s license, passport) to verify your identity, prevent fraud, and ensure the integrity of our services;
  • A recent photograph (selfie) of yourself to ensure that the person registering is the rightful owner of the provided government ID; and
  • Any other information you choose to provide.

• Information that we collect automatically

  When you use the Website, we may automatically collect certain information relating to your interaction with us and our Website, such as your IP address, device type, unique device identification numbers, browser-type, broad geographic location (e.g., country or city-level location), technical information about your device, the pages accessed and links clicked, and other information we collect using cookies and similar technology. • Information that we obtain from third-party sources

  The types of information we collect from third parties may include general geolocation information to identify what state and country you are visiting our site from to ensure inquiries and other requests are routed to the appropriate team for processing as promptly as possible as well as information about your work history from companies you are associated with.
